Jacksonville Sharks Corral Fayetteville Mustangs on the Road
The Jacksonville Sharks defeated the Fayetteville Mustangs on the road 73-53. The Sharks offense was led by the duo of QB Conor Blount and WR Kamrin Solomon racking up 36 of the Sharks 73 points. Newly signed Sharks kicker Kevin Didio-Weber made quite the first impression hitting one deuce and two rouge points. Defensively, the Sharks put a stop to Fayetteville’s high power offense, holding Mustang QB Rakeem Cato to only five touchdown passes and 175 yards. Anthony Johnson started the game off with a bang scoring the first of two rushing touchdowns less than three minutes into the first quarter. Fayetteville responded back quickly putting up their first touchdown in three possessions.The score went back and forth for the remainder of the quarter and ended with the Sharks up 20 to 19.
