NFL: Tampa Bay's 50th Season Schedule Announced

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2025 regular season schedule was released by the National Football League. After winning the NFC South division title for the fourth consecutive year, the Buccaneers will again face five division winners from the 2024 season – the maximum number a team can play in the 17-game format. Tampa Bay’s 50th season will commence with a trip to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. The Buccaneers will have a chance to extend their run to a franchise record five consecutive wins in season openers, and are 1-of-4 teams to have won their season opener in each of the past four seasons. In Week 2, the Buccaneers will return to the city of their 1976 inaugural game as they pay a visit to the Houston Texans and play on the primetime stage of Monday Night Football (7 p.m. ET on ABC). NFL: Buccaneers Finalize 2025 Preseason Schedule

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed the dates and times of the team’s 2025 preseason slate, which will feature matchups with the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Buffalo Bills. Tampa Bay will kick off its 2025 preseason with a home game at Raymond James Stadium against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, August 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET. This will be the first preseason contest between the teams after playing back-to-back in 2021 and 2022. In preseason Week 2, the Buccaneers will travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, August 16. The Buccaneers have played six prior preseason contests against the Steelers, with the most recent matchup coming in 2023. The Buccaneers will close out the 2025 preseason at home against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, August 23, at 7:30 p.m. ET, marking the first preseason game between the two teams since 2014. Tampa Bay Bucs: 18th Annual Event Set to Feed over 1,000 Families

On Tuesday, November 26, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line and Publix Super Markets will continue an annual tradition with the 18th annual Turkey Time with the O-Line, supported by Publix.  Buccaneers offensive linemen Graham Barton, Ben Bredeson, Luke Goedeke, Luke Haggard, Robert Hainsey, Elijah Klein, Cody Mauch, Lorenz Metz, Royce Newman, Raiqwon O'Neal, Justin Skule and Tristan Wirfs will distribute over 1,000 full Thanksgiving meals funded by the offensive line and Offensive Line Coach Kevin Carberry and Assistant Offensive Line Coach Brian Picucci. Housed in a new location, this year’s event will take place in the Flag Lot at the AdventHealth Training Center. Over 150 volunteers will participate in the event, comprised of Buccaneers staff, Buccaneers players, cheerleaders and Captain Fear. Buccaneers Re-sign Gholston and Signed Free Agent Metz

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today re-signed defensive lineman William Gholston and signed free agent offensive lineman Lorenz Metz. Gholston  (6-6, 281) returns for his 12th season in Tampa Bay, making him the second-longest tenured Buccaneers player behind only Lavonte David. Since being selected by Tampa Bay in the fourth round (No. 126 overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft, Gholston has played in 169 career regular season games, with 88 starts. His 169 games played with the Buccaneers rank sixth in franchise history.   In his career, Gholston has recorded 420 tackles (58 for loss), 77 quarterback hits, 19.5 sacks, 14 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one interception and four blocked kicks. He has also appeared in all nine playoff games for Tampa Bay over the past four seasons. In his playoff career, Gholston has tallied four quarterback hits and eight tackles, including one for loss. Armstead started 13 games at left tackle for Miami last year and was selected to the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in his career. He has played in 110 regular-season games with 106 starts and 10 postseason contests in his career. Armstead joined the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent from New Orleans on March 24, 2022. He was originally a third-round pick (75th overall) by New Orleans in the 2013 NFL Draft following his collegiate career at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Dolphins have signed cornerback Eli Apple and activated tackle Isaiah Wynn off the physically unable to perform list. Apple enters his eighth NFL season having played in 88 career games with 78 starts for four teams – the N.Y. Giants (2016-18), New Orleans (2018-19), Carolina (2020) and Cincinnati (2021-22). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed the dates and times of the team’s 2023 preseason slate, which will feature matchups with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens. Tampa Bay will kick off its 2023 preseason with a home game at Raymond James Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday, August 11, at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Buccaneers have played five prior preseason contests against the Steelers, with the most recent coming in 2019.   In preseason Week 2, the Buccaneers will travel to face the New York Jets for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, August 19. It will be the first preseason matchup between the two teams since 2006. Prior to the game, the teams will conduct joint practices with one another in Florham Park, New Jersey.
