UFL: Orlando Storm RB Jashaun Corbin Signs With Dallas Cowboys

From Florida SportsTicker ORLANDO (www.thefloridasportswire.com) – Orlando Storm running back Jashaun Corbin has signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Corbin becomes the fourth Orlando player and 39th player from the 2026 UFL season to sign an NFL contract since the conclusion of the season. He joins defensive end Keshawn Banks (Atlanta Falcons), wide receiver Cam Camper (New York Jets), and cornerback D.J. James (New York Giants) as Orlando players to earn NFL contracts. Corbin played in all 10 games for the Storm in 2026, rushing for 438 yards on 131 carries with three touchdowns. He added 118 receiving yards and 322 kick return yards to finish with 878 total yards, ranking third in the UFL. His 438 rushing yards also ranked third in the league. UFL: Orlando Snaps Two Game Skid with Win in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – ( www.thefloridasportswire.com ) – Another day, another thriller in the UFL. Houston had a chance to steal it with a 63-yard field goal in the final minute, but could not convert. Orlando escaped with the victory and earned their first win in three weeks, while Houston dropped their second straight. Houston’s defense set the tone early by forcing a three-and-out, and the offense quickly created the game’s first scoring chance. With Hunter Dekkers back under center, he connected on two chunk plays right away. First, a 17-yard strike to Marcus Yarns, followed by 27 yards to Jalen Cropper. The Storm defense bent but did not break, forcing a long field goal attempt. John Hoyland missed from 60 yards on a four-point try, keeping the game scoreless. UFL: Orlando Storms Past Columbus For Season Opening Win

ORLANDO – The Orlando Storm etched their names in the UFL record books, winning the first game in franchise history against another new franchise in the Columbus Aviators, 23-16, to conclude week one of the 2026 UFL season. Passing and rushing hit on all cylinders for the Storm, totaling 356 yards of offense, spotlighted by a league-best 139 rushing yards. Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jack Plummer threw an efficient 17-22, totaling 240 yards and one passing touchdown. Elijhah Badger led the night in receiving, snagging four catches for 127 yards.  Running back Jashaun Corbin played lights-out, leading the UFL in rushing yards (66) and rushing touchdowns (two) after week one. UFL Unveiling Three New Franchises Including Orlando Storm

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The United Football League (UFL) announced a major step forward in its continued growth, unveiling three new franchises set to debut in the spring of 2026 when the league kicks off its third season.  The new teams will be located in Columbus, Ohio, playing at Historic Crew Stadium, former home of the Columbus Crew of the MLS; Louisville, Kentucky, playing at Lynn Family Stadium, home of the Louisville City FC of the USL and Racing Louisville FC of the NWSL; and Orlando, Florida, playing at Inter&Co Stadium, home of the Orlando City SC of the MLS and Orlando Pride of the NWSL The league also announced updated team names and new venues for two legacy teams; the Arlington Renegades will become the Dallas Renegades when they move to Toyota Stadium, home of FC Dallas of the MLS, and the Houston Roughnecks will be named the Houston Gamblers when they relocate to Shell Energy Stadium, home of the Houston Dynamo FC of the MLS and Houston Dash of the NWSL. “Today mar...
