Tampa Bay Bucs: 18th Annual Event Set to Feed over 1,000 Families

On Tuesday, November 26, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line and Publix Super Markets will continue an annual tradition with the 18th annual Turkey Time with the O-Line, supported by Publix.

Buccaneers offensive linemen Graham Barton, Ben Bredeson, Luke Goedeke, Luke Haggard, Robert Hainsey, Elijah Klein, Cody Mauch, Lorenz Metz, Royce Newman, Raiqwon O'Neal, Justin Skule and Tristan Wirfs will distribute over 1,000 full Thanksgiving meals funded by the offensive line and Offensive Line Coach Kevin Carberry and Assistant Offensive Line Coach Brian Picucci.

Housed in a new location, this year’s event will take place in the Flag Lot at the AdventHealth Training Center. Over 150 volunteers will participate in the event, comprised of Buccaneers staff, Buccaneers players, cheerleaders and Captain Fear.

On Tuesday, families who have been pre-selected by United Way Suncoast, Hillsborough County Public Schools and local nonprofit organizations will receive a full meal purchased by the Buccaneers’ offensive line, with contributions from Publix and TECO Peoples Gas. The meals include one 12-16 pound turkey, stuffing, gravy, au gratin potatoes, cranberry sauce, green bea

ns, corn, Hawaiian sweet rolls, and pumpkin pie. The families will also receive a reusable shopping bag, foil pan roaster, and a $10 Publix gift card.

Tuesday’s event continues an annual tradition launched in 2007 by the Buccaneers offensive line to make an impact in the Tampa Bay community throughout the holiday season. Following this year’s distribution, the annual effort will have provided more than 14,500 underserved families with Thanksgiving meals.
