NAL: Sharks Play Regular Season Finale on Road

JACKSONVILLE (www.sportsdayjax.com) - In the final week of the regular season, the Sharks (10-2) will travel to Carolina to take on the second-place Cobras (9-4). Both teams look to finish the season strong before heading to the playoffs.
The two last matched up during week 12 at the Tank when the Sharks defeated the Cobras 61-52. Kamrin Solomon scored three receiving touchdowns, plus had a kickoff return for a score. He had 106 receiving yards in the win. Sam Castronova threw six touchdown passes and scored two rushing touchdowns.
After scoring a touchdown and recording one interception, Marquel Wade was named Iron Man Player of the Week.
Last week, the Sharks dominated the West Texas Warbirds at home, 70-25. The defense was dominant, which has become a theme over the past few games. Anthony Johnson and Sha-ki Holiness recorded sacks, and Jabari Gorman and Marvin Ross had interceptions. Jacksonville held its opponent scoreless in both the first and third quarters.
In his first game back from injury, Darien Townsend scored two touchdowns for the Sharks.
Castronova was named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. He led the Sharks to the win with 262 passing yards and eight touchdown passes. It was the fourth week this season that he was given the honor.
Solomon broke the single season reception record against West Texas. He has 109 receptions on the season with one more game to play.
The Cobras took down the San Antonio Gunslingers 63-45 last week to take over second place in the standings. WR Lance Evans scored three touchdowns, and MLB Keiron Jones had two interceptions.
Saturday’s game will take place at 7 p.m. at Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
