QUOTABLE
Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman"There's a lot of room for improvement. We have Wagner coming into town followed by a bye week and then seven conference games. We all know and are confident that we can win them, but we have obviously shown that we need to play a lot better in order to do that."
Redshirt Junior DB Jayden Williams
"They didn't really surprise us with anything, on our side we just really didn't execute the gameplan that the coaches laid out for us. We just have to grow as a team and get better."
UP NEXT
The Owls return to Boca Raton for a Sept. 28 matchup against Wagner at FAU Stadium. The game will air on ESPN+, kickoff at 6 p.m. EST. This will mark the final non-conference game of the season.
