UF's Reznick Selected 10th in Athletes Unlimited Draft
GAINESVILLE - Redshirt junior goalie Sarah Reznick was the 10th pick in the 2023 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse College Draft on Tuesday night. The 11 draftees were selected to compete in the 2023 AU Lacrosse season, beginning in July.
Reznick was the lone goalkeeper selected in the draft, among five attackers, one midfielder and four defenders.The list of accomplishments from the Long Beach, N.Y. native continues to grow, as this season alone she was named a Tewaaraton Top-25 Nominee, AAC Goalkeeper of the Year, earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team and was named as the AAC Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Reznick also recorded six AAC weekly honors (Goalkeeper of the Week - 2, Honor Roll - 4).She currently ranks third in the nation with her .534 save percentage this season and is 14th in goals against average (9.20). Over the course of her career, Reznick has totaled 572 saves, a .517 save percentage, 56 wins in the cage and an 8.70 goals against average.Against James Madison in the AAC Tournament Championship game, Reznick became Florida's all-time leader is saves, surpassing the mark of 566 set by Haley Hicklen (2016-19). Reznick hit the mark in 70 games, 10 less than the previous record.Reznick is ranked ninth among active Division I players with an 8.70 GAA.
