CFB: Taggart Announces USF Football Staff Changes

TAMPA, DEC. 8, 2014 – University of South Florida Football Coach Willie Taggart today announced three coaching staff changes as the Bulls begin preparations for the 2015 season that will see USF return 14 starters.

Defensive Coordinator Chuck Bresnahan, Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach Paul Wulff and Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Backs Coach Ron Cooper will not return for the 2015 season. 

“I would like to thank Chuck, Paul and Ron for everything they have done in helping move the USF football program forward,” Taggart said. “They are first-class people and I wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

USF returns 14 starters (6 offense, 7 defense and 1 specialist) for Taggart’s third season at the helm. The Bulls will return their top four tacklers (8 the top 12 overall) and 73 percent of their tackles on defense. USF returns 100 percent of its rushing and passing yardage from 2014, including 1,000-yard rusher Marlon Mack, and 50 percent of its receptions and receiving yards.
