ATLANTA - Jacksonville University men's golfer Joseph Sullivan was named ASUN Golfer of the Week.
The junior from Warninglid, England earned the conference recognition for the first time in his career, and is also the first winner from JU this season.Sullivan placed second at The Southern Invitational, helping the Dolphins to the team title at The Falls Club in Palm Beach, Florida earlier this week. He shot two sub-70 rounds and finished with a 54-hole score of 208, the third-lowest of his career. He led the field in pars, with 40, and eagles, making two, and was also the second-lowest scorer on Par-4s for the week, shooting 3-under.Sullivan and the rest of the men's golf team are back on the course next week, competing in the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial on Monday and Tuesday in Charlottesville, Virginia.
