ECHL: Icemen, Wiliams Shuts Out Solar Bears, 1-0

ORLANDO  (Florida Sports Wire) -  Luke Martin scored his 14th goal of the season and Charles Williams stopped 27 shots as the Jacksonville Icemen (38-22) defeated the Orlando Solar Bears 1-0 Friday night.

It was the second shutout of the season for Williams and fifth for Jacksonville.

Martin beat goaltender Jack LaFontaine on a shorthanded goal in the first period. LaFontaine made 38 saves.

The two clubs meet again Saturday in Orlando.

As the leaders frantically jockeyed for position on the backstretch, the cars on the inside lane seemed the most out of control.
